Afghan Community – Migrants & Refugees – Greece is a humanitarian digital project that provides reliable information, administrative guidance, and cultural orientation for Afghan refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers in Greece.
In 2016, Afghan Community launched its first regular workshops in Athens to address the lack of clear and reliable information for Afghan families.
The team organised language classes, administrative support and small group information sessions to help people understand their rights, procedures and daily life in Greece.
Since then, our network of volunteers has grown and families know they can turn to Afghan Community as a place of listening, trust and support, helping them move forward with more dignity and autonomy.
Meeting Between Partner Organisations: Afghan Community – Migrants & Refugees – Greece took part in an exchange with several associations and NGOs in Athens to strengthen cooperation and improve support for Afghan families.
Community Language Workshop: this workshop helps participants practise Greek, communicate better in daily life, and feel more confident in their integration process.
A Gathering to Celebrate Diversity — Festival of Cultures in Athens: this event highlights cultural diversity, solidarity-based encounters, and community life through music, traditions, food, and shared experiences.
